9TH ANNUAL HOLLYSHORTS COMEDY FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES FILM LINEUP

Los Angeles April 28, 2025 — Comedy fans, next generation storytellers, and lovers of funny short films are set to unite May 2-4 in Glendale as the 9th Annual HollyShorts Comedy Film Festival (HSCFF), formerly known as the Hollywood Comedy Shorts Film Festival, launches its latest edition.

This year’s competition screenings and awards will take place at the LOOK Dine-In Cinemas in Glendale (May 3rd & 4th), while the festival’s filmmaker opening festivities will take place on 2nd with Kodak and Fabric Studios. Officially selected Filmmakers Red Carpet will take place Saturday May 3 at LOOK Dine-in Cinemas.

 

85 comedy short films have made this year’s official selections. The festival’s organizers have announced the short films that have made the cut for this year’s festival. Films include: And Now I Lay Me Down, a 2024 HollyShorts Film Festival official selection starring Jane Kaczmarek of Malcolm and the Middle; It’s Showtime, starring American stunt performer Dave England, known for the Jackass franchise, as himself;  WASP, Episode 4 “Joshua Tree Was A-mah-zing” starring Britt Lower who plays “Helly” in Apple TV’s Severance; and Bootie’s directed by and starring Milana Vayntrub, actress best known for her role as Lily Adams in AT&T commercials.

Advanced Tickets are available starting today.
